Henderson’s is still as wonderful as when we frequented there as students 40 years ago. Healthy options galore in an informal atmosphere. It was great to introduce new friends to this timeless institution. Long may it continue!

Service was attentive at first. It's nice for food to arrive quickly but it coming within about 5 mins of ordering is suspiciously quick and made us feel it had just been sat on the side and stuck in the microwave. My food was enjoyable-...More

A great brunch. Interesting selection of dishes both done well. The use of tofu that isn't just bland and nothingness. Would go again.

I've visited quite a few times and my general impression is meh. They have some vegan options but not enough in my opinion. I know there's a separate vegan restaurant, I just didn't find it much better. I've also had the driest brownies known to...More

The place has a nice simple decoration. Live music daily after 7 pm and table service after 5 pm. I tried the daily soup, which was leek and potato soup, and the chef's special which is daily renewed. The soup was tasty. The main dish...More

Established in 1963, Scotland's first vegetarian restaurant "The Salad Table" is still proudly serving fresh, wholesome and tasty food. Join us for breakfast, lunch or dinner, or visit our deli shop for some takeaway and a loaf from our onsite organic bakery. Our restaurant is set up cafeteria style, offering a relaxed and informal dining experience, featuring live music every night, it's perfect for families, young and old, and still run as Janet Henderson envisioned 53 years ago.
