Best steaks in Edinburgh BYOB excellent service. We are repeat customers . Also try burgers and fish options!
Many thanks for the great review, much appreciated.
Beautiful steak meal. Cooked exactly as we like it the fries were crisp on the outside and soft inside. We took our own wine tho there is a great wine list. Colin manages a busy restaurant and always makes time for a quick chat. He...and the food are the stars and why we give it 5 starsMore
Thank you so much Betty for the wonderful review, it's always a pleasure.
Visited Buffalo last night for a meal and I'm so glad I did, the steak was one of the best steaks I've had in a very long time, so good in fact I ordered another one! Cooked to perfection the way I like it and...the peppercorn sauce was really tasty. The buffalo chicken wings were also superb. Great service from the staff also!More
Steak cooked to perfection as always at Buffalo Grill Edinburgh. Fantastic service from the lovely Katie who's friendly bubbly personality made for a perfect meal out.
Thank you for the great review. We are very happy you enjoyed your meal. Kind Regards
As usual the steaks and the the service were fantastic - we will be back again soon - I'd totally recommend this friendly restaurant - it's great for groups and would be fab for Valentine's night
Steaks were excellent and great service provided. Fully licensed or BYOB choice! Restaurant full after recent restrictions and great ambience and background music which allowed the 2 hours pass too quickly!. Will be returning again from something else from the varied menu.
Many thanks for the wonderful review. We are very happy you enjoyed your experience at Buffalo.
We visited here last night with our family and friends. Everything was just perfect! The owner went out of his way to help us from the booking stage to getting a taxi home! The menu was perfect. A great selection that suited all of us....We had a mixture of starters and then burgers/steaks for mains and we all loved everything we ate. The food was well presented and were good portion sizes. The staff were so friendly and the restaurant was clean with a modern decor. We would definitely recommend and are delighted to have found a restaurant in Edinburgh that we will become regulars in. Thank You!More
Many thanks for the wonderful review, it really was a pleasure to serve your family. We look forward to seeing you again in the future.
Cosy, dimly lit and decorated with photos and themes of the Lakota tribe, Buffalo is the place I finally found the most delicious, tender and flavoursome steak that I've ever eaten. It's actually tough to put into words how incredible the food was! I'm not...from Scotland and it was something I'd hoped to find when Angus beef is just a stone's throw away in the hills around the city. You will not be disappointed with this lovely little place! You're served with a smile and we sat at a cosy little booth by the window overlooking the road. The prosecco is super crisp and they even serve budvar! If you don't know what that is, you're missing out. When I return to Edinburgh, I will most definitely be coming back and I already can't wait!More

A long time fan of this restaurant, both here, and at their old site in Stockbridge. We always visit when we are in Edinburgh and we were absolutely treated to a wonderful meal and absolutely excellent friendly service. We always have the burgers as they...are just so good. We love you Buffalo Grill :). We will be back again and again.More

Excellent rib eye steak, cooked to perfection. Tempura prawns were fantastic. Forgot how good the food is in this restaurant is. Will be going back sooner than later. Highly recommended..
Many thanks for the great review, so happy you enjoyed your visit to Buffalo.
Went to buffalo on the 24/09/21. Service was excellent and Jeff was very friendly and helpful. Food was great and the teriyaki rump steak (medium rare) was possibly the best steak I've ever had. Will be back again if/when I return to Edinburgh!
Food was amazing, mixture of steaks and burgers ordered and all of it was lovely. Great attentive service. Would def recommend and will be going back.
Thank you for the great review
My family come up to Edinburgh every couple of years for the Festival in August. We usually make one stop here at Buffalo with friends and family who meet up with us (making sure to book!), but this year with the festival back after COVID...we turned up without reservation as a group of 3 and were lucky enough to get a table for lunch. Food is always enjoyable year on year. In fact my t-bone steak (medium rare) was incredibly succulent and flavoursome! Family had Alabama buttermilk chicken and fish+chips - both enjoyed and happy with the portion sizes. There had been a Picana steak on prior visits, but perhaps a lot of select stock has been reduced in these uncertain times (many restaurants we visited in Edinburgh had reduced their menus to items easier to keep and cook over more exuberant items on the menu). Quick and friendly service. Food out very quick and so hot the starter (buffalo wings) burnt my eager mouth a few minutes after serving (my own impatience being the reason for injury(!) 😆 A very very small niggle was only being able to order the Carmenere by the bottle (not uncommon tbh so wasn’t put out and accepted it haha!), but the glass of Malbec with the steak was lovely. Close to Bristo Square - well worth the 5 minute walk from there. Personally loved the music playing - mainly jazz/funk-esque (I’m no expert!) Reminiscent of Herbie Hancock. Perfect level - not too loud, not too quiet. Will be back again, next time we’re in Edinburgh for the festival. But will almost certainly have to book next time!More
Thank you very much for the lovely review.
We went for a pre-Fringe show dinner and the restaurant as always excelled itself. My wife and I had burgers - one veggie - and our son had chicken. All were excellent. Good local Edinburgh beer on offer. All topped off with great service and...friendly staff.More
Thank you Kenneth for the great review
