Hadnt been to Britannia Spice for many years so for my Father's birthday, we decided to take him out there and it's obvious they havent lost their touch.
Staff were very friendly, the menu has a lot of great variety and I noticed it has...dishes for the kids as well as their classic Indian/Nepalese dishes. Had The Britannia mixed grill which along with the great selection of wine gave me something of a food coma!
I'm very glad to see such a great restaurant still going after so long especially after the pandemic so i'd highly reccomend a visit. It will not dissapoint!More
Visited Britannia Spice for the 2nd time this week and was again delighted by the food, service and staff. Ria was the perfect hostess, with such a lovely & friendly manner..We will definitely be back..Top class!!
We often came here before lockdown but with the eat out to help out scheme it’s such a treat! We love coming here, the food is always delicious. Staff polite too, Ria is a real asset! We will be back soon 😊
Excellent meal. Very good service. Staff brilliant and friendly. What more could you ask for.
They even cater for those that don’t like Indian!!?🥴
Three of us went at short notice. All relevant measures taken. We were well looked after. The manager was a gas😂😂😘
Wife booked late table for restaurant that we had never been to before. We stayed in Holiday Inn Express 100 metres away so we were not expecting too much after some strange reviews on site as it was completely different from our experience. On arrival...warm welcome and with current safety precautions adhered to we were reassured safe distance table. Menu selection really good and food was excellent. Tandoori dish perfect. Serving staff great personality and character and acknowledged the birthday celebration throughout our visit. We got advice on dishes on menu so we can only comment fairly and acknowledge a great dining experience. The manager was clearly coordinating smoothly the running events in his restaurant and this is what we expect when eating out in a controlled environment in these times. Well done and ***** from us 😁More
We visited Britannia Spice whilst travelling in the area and really fancied an Indian. We were not disappointed with some very tasty, aromatic (and spicy!) food on offer and can understand why the restaurant has won so many awards over the years. Go yourselves -...you’ll love it!!More
Visited yesterday for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed the fare on offer. Succulent spicy lamb chops to start followed by Harrey Masaley Ka Gosht. Absolutely beautiful; not overly spicy and balanced perfectly as the taste comes first followed by the heat. Managed to have...a chat with the owner after our meal and an extremely pleasant person he is. Looking forward to a certain return visit.More
