Popped in for a coffee and cake whilst out walking on the southside of the city. It's very small with only about three tables but the coffee was nice and my blueberry and pumpkin seed tarte was fantastic. All for a pretty reasonable price.

Brilliant little tasting cafe. The best bread in the world ideal for a quick coffee, you can have a lunch. No toilet and big step into it.

Picked up a selection of croissants, pain au raisin, brioche for breakfast. This is a real French bakery everything is very fresh and they taste amazing. Few parking bays outside so you can pop in. Open every day, Easy access on a Sunday morning.

Many of Edinburgh’s student hangouts gather around
university buildings in Southside, the sort of

just a few pounds. In August the student population is
replaced by vast numbers of boisterous visitors here
for the Fringe, Edinburgh’s world-class comedy and
arts festival which headquarters itself here. Flanking
