Great place to hangout and grab a nice cup of coffee before boarding a train to places or bus or tram to the Edinburgh airport. There were tables and chairs for customers to seat and enjoy their coffee however places availability was limited.

Typical Starbucks, conveniently located at the entrance/exit of Haymarket Station. Quick friendly service, formula coffee etc. Just what you would expect.

Even though a bit small in seating, the service and quality is consistently maintained. I am a big fan of starbucks and was not disappointed this time either.

Sometimes you are glad to find a place you already know, we were tired and it did the job. It was a very small branch.

Came in here for a coffee and cake - tried the flat white - never had this from Starbucks and it was lovely! Blueberry muffin was v moist and tasty. Wish there was more seating but it is just a small place. Toilets were actually really clean!

Like any other Starbucks - generally over hyped, but ok for a quick coffee. Staff is very friendly and location close to Haymarket station is convenient.

A very convenient location with friendly staff. Not very many seats but this is to be expected from a small coffee shop.

Great starbucks in cute neighborhood. This was our local place for coffee while staying in Edinburgh! it is right next to the train station and the staff were always accommodating and helpful to the Americans! (us). You can enjoy wifi and there is an outside eating area if you like. The inside area is rather small.

Staying in West End

Neighborhood Profile
West End
Prevailing winds meant that most cities that grew in industrial Britain had their most desirable neighborhoods to the west – upwind of factory fumes. Edinburgh was no exception, with its wealthiest citizens settling in its West End and leaving behind grand Georgian townhouses, private gardens and genteel crescents. These backstreets remain as dignified and sleepy as ever, and most of the action here lies along the district’s busy main roads. Lothian Road connects to southern Edinburgh and harbors a vague entertainment district: three theaters and the city’s main indie cinema. All attract a select crowd, the sort who appreciate the Saturday Edinburgh’s Farmers’ Market around the corner. The West End’s other great thoroughfare, Shandwick Place, is dominated by trams trundling out to the suburbs and airport, and shoppers picking up last-minute items before hopping aboard.
