Really great cocktails, fantastic service however very disappointing at end when cash was not accepted to pay bill …. No prior warning or notices.

We received a recommendation to come here for after dinner drinks and decided to drop in. Is such a cool place for drinks! They have a limited bar, and using what they have they change up their menu every three months experimenting with different combinations...and flavors resulting in some of the most unique and delicious drinks we’ve had.More

Loved this place!! The service was incredible, the lovely wait staff couldn't do enough for us, kept filling our water glasses (very hot day and we sat outside), allowed us to order off menu as I was dying for an espresso martini, even offered to...take photos of our group for us as we were all dressed up to go to a concert. Absolutely loved it and I wish I lived locally as I'd love to come back, if I'm in Edinburgh again I will go out of my way to drop in again! 100/10.More

One of my favourite cocktail bars in Edinburgh! Such a fun menu with inventive cocktails, but they also do great classics. The atmosphere is great - especially if you can get on the billiards table downstairs with friends. The staff is INCREDIBLE - so nice...& welcoming and you feel at home. Love this place!More

Quite possibly one of the hidden gems in Edinburgh, this cocktail bar is run with true passion by its team. The drinks are always well thought out, and I am impressed by the creative use of some non conventional ingredients: the star of the show...last night was a doughnut tasting cocktail called Do'hnut (clever Simpsons reference here), a sweet orgeat tasting mix with white rum and other exotic ingredients. Talking about ingredients, syrups and other special ingredients are home or custom made, and you can taste that extra edge. A few more standouts: - the staff is very friendly and it's great to see that they dedicate a bit of their time talking to you about what they are serving; - the bar music comes from a record player, which add extra charm to the place. Yesterday they were playing a The Cure album, and something punk-rock afterwards; - they sell hotdogs as well, just in case you are hungry. - prices are more than fine for mixes and other tipples. Great atmosphere, creative and very tasty cocktails, nice music, very friendly staff. If you visit Edinburgh, you should make a stop.

Popped in for a drink after a lovely meal close by. A really nice bar, great service. Whilst it would have been lovely to sit outside on an exceptionally warm evening it was great for local residents that those sitting outside were moved inside at...10pm. Friendly service, good choice of drinks and a lovely outside area make this a really nice pit stop.More

Stopped off here for drinks after dinner elsewhere. No seats but standing which was fine. Friendly reception from the bar staff. Found it a bit eclectic in its setup with the music (subjective) not really in fitting for a bar, so did not stay long.

We called in on a Friday night for a few drinks. Great service and great cocktail list. Very friendly and slightly different atmosphere for a bar, almost like a canteen cafe. We found the lighting too bright for a bar on a Friday evening and...thought the music just inappropriate for a bar setting. The music was a really mixed set of 70s and 80s. I saw a lot of people tapping their toes so I guess it was suitable for others in the bar at the time. For us, the lighting and music in a bar is as important as the quality of the cocktails as it sets the scene. We stayed for a few hours as our dinner booking was late. Probably had one too many drinks but it was fun with really fabulous service.More

Always great friendly staff. An innovative menu that will amaze your taste buds, whilst you relax & chill to great music.

We came in for one, ended up drinking the entire menu. Great drinks, great staff and musics on point. Enough said!

Covid-19 has certainly changed the way we can socialise; having been unable to find a table in 3 previous cocktail bars Lucky Liquor was our last hope! Thankfully they had a table (outside)...just as it started to rain! They've a small selection of cocktails which...is ever changing, allowing you to try something new each time you come. I opted for the "Seaweed Chocolate Wine" a punchy cocktail with a whisky base. My partner chose a glass of wine. Were it not for the rain that had started to get heavier I'd have had another. Looking forward to being able to do a cocktail crawl and pop in here again.More

A unique cocktail menu makes this place with a visit, is quite small so would recommend making a reservation.

Me and my boyfriend came across this place and thought it sounded fun. As we walked in we was very warmly welcomed and straight away given free glasses of water. The cocktails im not going to lie are quite strong but the free glasses of...water are constantly getting refilled which i find absolutely fantastic and a brilliant concept which i think most bars should do. Best bit about this place is my boyfriend tried to surprise me as it was my birthday and was hoping the staff could put something like a sparkler in my drink but they didnt have any so instead the staff gave us both a fancy gold flake shot on the house! Such friendly staff, great atmosphere, brilliant drinks! Thanks guys! Was a perfect ending to my birthday!More

If 13 is your lucky number, then this is your spot. Out of 13 Liquors, changed seasonally, come many drinks. We were on a cocktail crawl this evening and, while the cocktails were tasty, it just wasn't our favorite spot of the night. Maybe is...was the wobbly stools at the bar, or the strange journey to the loos, or the cold subway tiles behind the bar... who knows, it just didn't have that je ne sais quoi. Very much liked their sister bar The Last Word Saloon, though.More
