Popped in for lunch after a nice walk up the riverside. Owner was very friendly, dining room is a charming, warm little space decorated with all manner of interesting things. We were treated very well during our visit and enjoyed our food. One small downside was the incorrect taking of the order (which seems to be memorised instead of written... More

This morning we walked from Cramond Foreshore to Cramond Brig and back. This is a lovely walk of about three miles made special by the discovery of Cramond Falls Cafe. This is a little gem. The temptation is to stop on the outward journey as well as the return! The atmosphere is welcoming and warm (including a log fire...well it... More

if you want a truly unique and relaxed experience this is the place! Located right next to an incredibly scenic walking path along the River Almond is this small, out of the way inn with a rich history. It is not 4star lodging but clean and comfortable. Walkers will love the local pub and tour the gorgeous setting. The owners... More

We found the Cramond Mill Cafe at the end of a beautiful walk by the sea and river, in much need of hot drinks. The two women working were very friendly and it was nice chatting with them. I got an americano and cheese scone, and my friends got the fruit scones, a hot chocolate, and a latte. Everything was... More

The setting is simply fantastic. The service is really friendly and helpful. Good home cooking and lovely coffee. For a bite while you are enjoying a marvellous walk along the riverside it would be hard to better this nice wee cafe.

Dropped in for a hot drink and very pleasantly surprised to see the style evolving inside. Lots of character features invoking interesting conversation with the owner. Very welcoming host and lovely fresh baked scones. We can't wait to go for another visit.

Description
This is a tucked away Cafe offering something 'unique'. If a little out of the way being a short walk up the Almond River side from the historic Cramond village at the mouth of the Almond oppsite Cramon Island. Walk up steam past the Boat Club. Its good for a relaxing bite to eat, teas, coffees and a time out. There is nothing like it in the area right next the river. Log fire if its cold, how good is that.
