This is another one of Edinburghs traditional hostelries, with fantastic original decor, good selection of beers, pleasant staff, worth a visit when in the area.

Lot of history here. This is a real Scottish pub and not one that plays music with a lot of bass...lol. We had drinks here after dinner.

With Edinburgh admist the Edinburgh Festival it was nice to find a a quiet place to sit and enjoy a drink and a meal of steak and chips. The pub is a traditional one, but that just makes it more enjoyable.
