Went here twice over the last week in Edinburgh. Deliciuos, moist and spicy chicken, great sides (love the new supergrain!), lovely staff and nice and cosy decor. You can't go wrong with this chicken :-)

Amazing place, great view from 2nd floor. Chicken is their specialty and the do it very well! Tender and perfectly prepared at very reasonable prices. Be careful with the spice as it can get very hot!

Hi out again tonight meeting a friend. Nandos I'd tried on holiday and wanted to try one in Edinburgh. I was very pleased with my dish and liked having unlimited cola. The restaurant was very well presented and I was looked after. Cheers Caroline

As a forty something non meat eater with an 11 year old son who is happily obsessed with Nandos, I always have a slight heart sink when lunch location is his choice! We were in Edinburgh for the day, and he choose lunch at Nandos, we ended up in the Chambers street restaurant as we'd just walked around Hollyrood Park.... More

I got wings and a pita. Both were avg. I should have gotten the plain chicken as it looked great from looking around. Rest of family was ok with choices but nobody loved the food. I would try it again just choose better.

Look, you know what you're getting to eat if you go to nandos but what makes this one stand out are the friendly staff. I go there with the kids often and I review it for the company itself but never before for TrA. Best one I've been to. Big turnover of covers as its near the Royal mile so... More

Popped in as we were passing, although it was busy managed to get a table quickly and when ordered, food came quickly and was as of the normal standard for a nandoa. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

I really like visiting this Nandos. The staff are friendly and the food is served really quick. This isn't the first time I've visited, usually it's just after it opens so it's not so busy. We went at around 12.30pm today and had to wait a bit because it was full but we were seated when there was availability. The... More

Staying in Old Town

Neighborhood Profile
Old Town
Few Edinburghers live in the Old Town, but its labyrinth of dank alleys and steep streets suggests this was not always the case. Today, it’s mostly visitors, tartan-flavored souvenir shops, and pipers that you’ll find on its cobbled streets. This is the place to get a feel for Auld Reekie (Old Smelly), as the town was once nicknamed, and stroll the Royal Mile, the thoroughfare that links the castle with the royal palace – two of Edinburgh’s great set-piece attractions. But there’s lots more exploring to do here down dozens of little alleys, or wynds, while at night the city’s busiest clubs erupt along the Cowgate which is closed to traffic for this purpose.
