I just love breakfast. I'm a huge fan of bacon, scrambled eggs etc etc, washed down with a good strong black coffee. I don't usually write reviews for anything, but when you have a breakfast this good, with ingredients of this quality (and being in Edinburgh this breakfast boasted haggis too), in a tiny, local, friendly cafe with a pleasing... Really pleased to discover this little gem just round the corner from my new flat. Great coffee and fab bacon rolls. Friendly service and pleasant atmosphere.

Dropped in for coffee and cake on a Saturday afternoon. Welcoming host. Nice atmosphere. Delicious coffee. Nice baking. Hope to return for something more substantial. Worth seeking out.

The small café serves tasty food. Nice atmosphere, mostly local people that know the owners. Coffee is really good. Café is located in a side street, but very close to Leith Walk. Nice experience.

We stayed in a holiday rental very close to Cafe Renroc and found it a perfect spot for light lunches and not so light breakfasts. It has a very welcoming atmosphere and an eclectic mix of diners. The small but well considered menu features fresh and tasty food and in good weather the outside tables make a great spot to... More

The place is very nice, nice interior design, there is seating downstairs too and it's a little bit more intimate. The food is and coffee are very nice. the staff are usually not very welcoming and make you feel like you bother them...maybe a coincidence but been there a couple of time and both time we felt this way so... We were looking for a light lunch, at a place of mostly locals, for Scottish fare and Renroc was perfect. With '70's rock albums on the wall and extremely nice help, the food was excellent.

We dropped into the cafe just before 5pm on Sunday - they were just about to close but no problem - coffee , ginger berr and cake delivered tontable with a smile. The real surprise was 'down stairs' the former bakery basement is a great place for a coffee and snack - and from the menu a decent sharing board... More

This is a lovely cafe with friendly staff. The food was really good as was the coffee. The decorations upstairs and downstairs make the place feel very homely. I've been here a few times & would recommend it
