Mid-week lunch. Vibrant and friendly atmosphere, with good natural lighting. EXCELLENT SERVICE. Wonderful main course of haggis-stuffed chicken-breast. Well cooked & presented and a good sized portion. Washed down with a pint of locally brewed real ale. Refreshing and hoppy (in a GOOD way) taste....More

We popped into Fiddlers Inn on a snowy St. Patrick's day after finding the other Grassmarket pubs were full. It was a great discovery! I ordered Salmon and Mash, and it was great! I was full but not stuffed when done. Highly recommended!

My hotel receptionist recommended the Fiddler’s Arms as the best combo for food and ale. A well deserved accolade on a busy road of pubs/eateries snuggling under the castle walls The haggis had a pleasantly warm/spicy after taste - but not as warm as the...More

Few Edinburghers live in the Old Town, but its

this was not always the case. Today, it’s mostly
visitors, tartan-flavored souvenir shops, and pipers
that you’ll find on its cobbled streets. This is the
place to get a feel for Auld Reekie (Old Smelly), as
the town was once nicknamed, and stroll the Royal
