Great lunch stop, lots of choices and the cakes are a must, home made and lots of choice. Good to see something different, like the courgette and avocado cake, which was super light and delicious.

Tucked away on a side-street just off High Street we had a great breakfast of Eggs Benedict and pancakes. The presentation was lovely and both dishes were prepared well. Definitely a place I will visit again.

Went for breakfast at about 11am. Plenty of room inside, and friendly staff. First problem was that the table top - though clean - was sticky. Ordered tea (would have preferred a tea pot, not a small glass cup) and a full breakfast. Regrettably, no...More

It‘s a small and cozy place for breakfast and lunch. The service is extremely friendly and the food outstanding! Whenever I visit the city, I have to come by for their food and drinks.

Located just off Royal Mile. Opens early for full breakfast which is lovely to be able to get to castle when it opens. A 4/5 only because server seemed to wish we hadn't bothered to come.

A great find of an independent coffee shop with fresh homemade cakes, delicious. There was a lunch menu but we didn't need this due to the breakfast we had eaten. Was nice to not support a chain like costa and quality of drinks and food...More

I visited here with my boyfriend and his parents. We were looking for somewhere to have breakfast and stumbled upon this little gem. I'm allergic to dairy, so finding somewhere to eat can be hard, but we were happy to find there was something for...More

Old Town
Few Edinburghers live in the Old Town, but its

that you’ll find on its cobbled streets. This is the
place to get a feel for Auld Reekie (Old Smelly), as
the town was once nicknamed, and stroll the Royal
