Without doubt the best ever. What a super little local cafe. Fantastic cullen skink and everything else looked good. Really buzzing with locals and a very few tourists. Reminded me of little local places in Manhattan or Sausalito back in the sixties!

I didnt have time to eat at a regular restaurant so stopped by this cafe on my way to a meeting and this place tastes better than expected. The price was decent. Only problem was that they slightly burnt the fries on my meal. Overall, this place is great for a quick eat.

I've been here several times and I have to admit that it is sometimes really good and sometimes average at best. They sometimes overcook their steaks which is a big no no for me.

The restaurant is small & unassuming in appearance, but the food is extremely well-crafted & delicious. Try the daily specials with either one, two, or three courses. Our party consisted of three people & the meals had three choices in starters, mains & desserts so we tasted almost everything on the specials menu & all three of us agreed that... More

Usually call in here for lunch. It is a real family café, where the staff know the regulars by name and really go out of their way to make you feel valued and welcome. The food is freshly made to order and is always tasty and flavoursome, with a French twist. Plenty of vegetarian options. One of the tables looks... More

I really enjoy my lunch here. It's a bright place and I was greeted by smiley and friendly staff. The menu had a lot to choose from and my choice of cullen skink was a wise one as it was really tasty. Nice fruit scone too. I'd recommend this place for lunch

Our intention was to navigate our way from the bus stop to the Botanic Garden for a morning snack. We never got there. We passed this attractive little bistro and then walked back and in. Lovely fresh feeling interior and a warm welcome. The best bacon bap I've had in a long while and the scone and home made plum... More

We arrived around 12.30pm, happy to have breakfast, brunch or lunch. We were initially told that a lovely table by the window "was reserved" but another waitron arrived and said we could sit there if we'd be all done by 2pm. Of course we agreed! So partner had cullen skink and I had the 'terrine of the day' (chicken) with... More

After a disastrous visit to the Terrace Cafe in The Botanical Gardens, my sister and I spotted this wonderful cafe on our way home. The decor is bright and welcoming, the service was friendly and relaxed. The food was perfect, I had a salad from the specials board and my sister had the Cullen Skink. The menu prices were sensible... More

We visited for lunch and couldn't believe our luck in choosing such a gem of a cafe, the menu was great, lots of choice even though one of our group was a vegetarian, fabulous burger and caramelised onion tart, amazing vanilla cheesecake, great service with a smile, thank you for a great culinary experience!!
