Really nicely decorated restaurant and friendly staff. The food was good, lovely tender chicken and lamb in the curry. It was very quiet when we went in so I think the staff were a little too attentive, they were waiting to collect plates as soon...More

Visited here recently, whilst visiting Edinburgh and was delighted with the meal. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The Kashmiris mixed starter was fantastic and so was the meat Thali. I’ll be visiting this place again, next time I’m back in Edinburgh.

Booked for 6 people, a family lunch, and we were not disappointed, delicious food, excellent table service, and a price to match. This is why I would recommend the Omar experience to anyone. Trust me, you will not regret it. 10/10....

Been here a few times before and yet again had a superb meal. Staff friendly, food excellent. It was very busy when we were in, only waited a few minutes for a table. Chicken, prawns, mushroom rice all really good. Will definitely be back.

West End
Prevailing winds meant that most cities that grew in
industrial Britain had their most desirable
neighborhoods to the west – upwind of factory fumes.
Edinburgh was no exception, with its wealthiest
citizens settling in its West End and leaving behind
grand Georgian townhouses, private gardens and genteel
crescents. These backstreets remain as dignified and
sleepy as ever, and most of the action here lies along
