After hearing so many positive reviews my wife surprised me with a birthday visit for which we were both very much looking forward to. Unfortunately it was far from what we believed it would be. By no means the best steak even in Edinburgh, the...More

Fantastic staff, great menu, awesome space. Except for the music. The Spotify playlist seemed... off. We walked in to “Gold digger” and heard some Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston. Was an odd choice for the restaurant. But... that aside, awesome experience. Really, really good meat,...More

One of us is coeliac so we had to choose the restaurant carefully. Kyloe met the requirement. Good roomy table. Good service and the food was good. Nice experience,

Food couldn’t be faulted to be honest but just didn’t have the “wow” factor. With that being said, it’s known for its beef and I had a lamb dish.

I went with high expectations, having been once before, when we had a great meal. I am really frustrated when I go to a restaurant that is inconsistent, and means that I won't become a regular. On our previous visit, we had a lovely and...More

Me and my partner ate here for our 5th anniversary. We had the Wagu/n'duja croquette, which was a little disappointing and the mushrooms on toast with a fried duck egg, which was much nicer. Our mains were good, but not exceptional, the personal wellington was...More

Really nice restaurant with top class staff. Great food as well so the only thing stopping a 5 star rating is the prices. Some of the steaks are over-priced with other items on the pricey side. if you have something to celebrate though - you...More

We were told that Aberdeen Angus is a must have in Scotland. Kyloe offered multiple cuts of Aberdeen Angus. We had the Corte de bouf with onion rings, coleslaw and portobello mushrooms. We were presented with a complimentary loaf of bread, which was amazing. The...More

West End
Prevailing winds meant that most cities that grew in
industrial Britain had their most desirable
neighborhoods to the west – upwind of factory fumes.
Edinburgh was no exception, with its wealthiest
citizens settling in its West End and leaving behind
grand Georgian townhouses, private gardens and genteel
crescents. These backstreets remain as dignified and
sleepy as ever, and most of the action here lies along
