Stayed at the Malmaison so on our second night decided to stay closer to the hotel for food. Restaurant was incredibly busy so went in to see if they had a table and were lucky enough to be given one after 5 mins wait. The food was absolutely incredible - scallops with black pudding for me, pate for the other... More

What a meal! We chose the Fruits de Mer Royale, a sharing platter 'for two or three'. It looked amazing when it arrived and every mouthful excelled the last. If you love seafood, this is without doubt the place to go. The service was excellent throughout - attentive, yet not overly so. A very memorable meal to serve a very... More

A warm, waterside restaurant with reasonable service and decent enough food. Perhaps not as good as some of the reviews, but on the night we were there the place was packed and the service a bit glacial because of that. Good quality grub though and worth a visit.

enjoyed a fabulous seafood extravaganza - started with deep fried oysters followed by scallops and my wife had a whole grilled fish. all tasted superb and fresh. Would highly recommend - plenty of choice available. Great service too.

Very good seafood restaurant situated in the waterfront area of Leith, Edinburgh. We were staying at a nearby hotel and decided to visit this restaurant based on TA reviews - we were not disappointed. We decided to make a reservation to be sure of a table and I would recommend this approach as all tables seemed to be taken when... More

Visited recently with an elderly friend and we received a personal and excellent welcome. The food was superb and very attractively presented. The establishment majors on fish dishes and all I have tried have been beautifully prepared and served. The service is friendly and attentive and all is done to ensure a very pleasant experience

Had very high expectations for this restaurant based on TA reviews however left very disappointed. The mussels were good, fresh a decent portion however the scallop starter lacked flavour. The Thai salmon main was such a missed opportunity with the sauce being watery and lacking in any depth of flavour. The surf & turf was expensive considering you only receive... More
