Called in while in the Grassmarket for drinks, good sized pub with a good atmosphere. Decent drinks although little pricey in comparison to the other pubs in the street. Only stayed for one drink but enjoyed all the same, would we return - yes if...More

When I visited one evening, it was very crowded, but I was able to find a table and was waited upon promptly. I ordered the steak pie, which was very good. I had a couple different waiters serving me, but they were attentive and fast....More

As a rugby fan I love coming to this pub, always cheerful and a welcoming atmosphere. Prices are a little expensive for example a cheese and bacon burger but tasty and quite large portions. Will definitely be back

One of several Pubs within the Grassmarket area, and we tried most of them. Some superb, others not quite so good! The Beehive though is my pick of the bunch for several reasons. Busy pub at weekends, but not so busy to be difficult to...More

A pleasant pub in the heart of the historic Grassmarket area. We had burgers which were very tasty and a good portion size. A relaxing bar with plenty of seating if you just want a drink or you're eating.

Part of the fabulous strip of old pubs in the Grassmarket district hundreds of feet below the Edinburgh Castle. We sat outside in glorious sunshine and had wonderful pub food and pints. Great fish and chips, and the atmosphere can’t be beat.

Hi Nick, Thanks for much for your glowing review. I'm so pleased you were able to enjoy some sun, food and drinks in our beer garden, it's quite the sun trap-when the suns out that is. I hope we will see you again. Regards, Vicky.

Old Town
Few Edinburghers live in the Old Town, but its

this was not always the case. Today, it’s mostly

the town was once nicknamed, and stroll the Royal
