Wow! Different Class, a delight for a meal, or a soup and dessert. First class chef. Excellent, can't fault it in any way. Staff are happy, cheerful, very helpful. This is Top Class in my eyes, and I am in Heaven anytime I go here. Every time I visit Dundee, I make sure I indulge myself before my journey, my... More

Lovely friendly place, great food, all very fresh and tasty. The menu is quite limited but the food on it is a good range. Staff very friendly and smiley - a definite must if you're in Dundee and want to be near the lovley silvery Tay!!

We dropped in on spec and found the staff friendly and our sandwiches wholesome and delicious. The restaurant was busy and has fantastic views over the river to Fife. And you can watch trains crossing the magnificent Tay rail bridge. Definitely worth a stopover for train enthusiasts!

I've written a review on this restaurant before, but thought I should again. It is consistently very good. Eat here at least once a week at lunch time and we've never had a bad meal. Staff are friendly and attentive, and nothing is too much trouble. Hard to say what the best dish is because we are slowly making our... More

Had heard great things about the Bridgeview from various sources & friends. Found ourselves with a spare lunchtime & popped in midweek for lunch. Restaurant half full so got a table easily, waitress was lovely & seated us at the window with menus & winelist , ( please note winelist is not laminated & pages scruffy & stained... Could do... Been here on many visits to Dundee and have always enjoyed it but something has changed ! Most of the staff still friendly apart from the guy with attitude who when I asked for a glass of wine at 11.55 am for my 90 year old mother told me rather brusquely that they didn't take orders for alcohols until 12... We stopped in at the Bridge view Station on Sunday and we were not disappointed. Service was prompt, attentive and just the right amount of interaction. The food? What can I say?. Amazing!! Fish and chips and the steak ciabatta with onion rings in the side. The fish was definatley fresh batter was really crispy. The onion rings were huge,... More

I was so excited to try this place and thought it looked great when we first sat down. Unfortunately though I had one of the blandest meals I've ever eaten. Ordered Macaroni Cheese with leeks and pancetta, but they seemed to have forgotten the cheese and lardons were unpleasantly gelatinous. Sauce was runny and tasteless, and just couldn't finish the... Yum! The place was packed but we were seated right away and our order promptly taken. Our food came quickly and was outstanding! I had the beer-battered haddock with chips (best I've ever had) and my husband had the soup of the day (cauliflower) with a beef brisket sandwich which he said was also amazing! Our dessert was the almond... More
