Stayed over in Moffat on way North and was really impressed with this place. Great reception with staff really helpful with both drinks and food choice. There was a special offer on, and whilst our requirements didn't match the offer the restaurant adapted it so that we still benefited. Food was excellent, worth a journey!!

After a long cycle and despite turning up bedraggled , wet and a little muddy I had a great welcome to a smart cafe with excellent cake , tea and a magazine .. Will return for dinner when not on my bike .

Have been to Brodies on more than one occasion- each time has been pleasurable, the staff are very accommodating and attentive, and make sure your choice of meal is one to remember. The surrounding decor is pleasant and relaxing, certainly recommend Brodies to anyone who is looking for a new eating house.

Had Sunday lunch menu. Only 4 starters , 4 mains and 4 puddings available. All mains were £10. I had bream which was lovely but complete meal barely covered the centre of my plate !!! Sister in law had chicken breast served without any kind of sauce so it was a bit dry. Brother had lamb and cleared his plate.... More

Viewed from a distance the restaurant is rather unimpressive; that's where the 'Doctor Who' factor comes in. You enter what seems a rather dinky little establishment that blossoms into one that is surprisingly large, without losing any of the ambience of a small intimate establishment. Service, considering the place was packed, was acceptable..The food was served to everyone in our... More

Excellently presented food, in a stylish and comfortable setting, the service was personal and very warm. Good selection of wines and a lovely environment in which to enjoy them. Will come again.

After a visit to Falkirk we wanted somewhere to stop for lunch on the journey home, I searched TripAdvisor and found Brodies. The reviews all looked good and it was perfectly placed, so I rung and booked a table with a very polite gentleman on the phone. We arrived about 10 mins early for a Sunday lunch, a table was... Visited Brodie's restaurant, wine bar and café at Altrive place in Moffat , just off the main street opposite the old cemetary on the bend in the road. We were impressed with the service and food quality and we were made to feel at home there. Our friends decided to have a meal but we stuck to a wonderful bap... More
