Sorry I cannot review the food, I never got that far ! My wife and I went into the restaurant at 13:20 only to be told that they close at 13:45 and we would therefore need to eat our food quickly. Less than impressed we were shown to a small table for two by the window where the sun was... More

We were anticipating a quality Indian meal which it wasn't, the poppadoms were fine But it's hard to go wrong there although it is the worst spicy onions I've ever had, raw chopped onion with veg?? a fairly hot mushroom dish my wife thought was foul and a Mango chutney sauce, only sauce that's it. Two portions of chicken pakora,... More

Went here around 6pm on a Saturday night so it wasn't busy. Had popadoms and dips then mains (no starters). The popadoms were not fresh - when I went to snap one in half...it bent before eventually breaking! The dips were decent - the lime pickle was red (so maybe it was something else?) but it was spicy and tasty.... More

Our last visit to a curry house in Scotland on our 2016 tour. Very good food, nice environment. Staff could be a little more happy.... Toilets 5/10 A little disheartened by all the rubbish from the Indian on the pavement outside......not sure what all that was about.

Visited earlier this week. It got busier during our visit however the owner/ manager clearly was not interested in helping the only waiter. Service from the young waiter was fine but the owner/manager was rather 'abrupt' in manner. The food-I had chicken-, was rather tough and rubbery and certainly not freshly cooked. We were left sitting at the end of... More

First time in an Indian restaurant in Scotland. Service wasn't overly friendly but I think the waiter couldn't understand our accents . Never seen such a huge menu so I stuck with what I know - chicken sag. Very nice dish but not much chicken in it. Husband thoroughly enjoyed his food. I probably wouldn't even write this review except... More

Staying in the area and thought we would try this restaurant. Staff were friendly food was ok but did have to wait awhile , felt as if takeaway orders may of had priority.

This is an Indian restaurant that has been in Peebles for some time now it has a very wide ranging menu this could be part of the issue with the relatively high cost of he meals. The food itself was very good, no complaints there. Service was patchy on arriving we were welcomed in a polite business like manner but... More

After picking up a takeaway menu form outside we decided to eat in. Food nothing special same old high street curry house/take away food you find everywhere. However the price defences is extortionate. My main was £7 ish on the take away menu but £14 to eat in. I know you have overheads but on a meal with 2 starters... More
