Visited today for a Father’s Day meal. Ordered the 8oz steak for £18 something and the Gnocci. The steak was poorly presented and was more like a piece of frying steak than quality rump. The gnocchi was absolutely swimming in tomato sauce and oil. The...More

I’m sorry that you were disappointed. I will investigate both the content of our salad and the flavour or the Dahl. Our prices reflect the cost of living and we cannot charge less. The majority of our customers keep returning as they enjoy our dishes...More

Ideally situated at the edge of Gunknowe Loch, this restaurant is a welcome find for anyone traveling between Melrose and Galashiels. The menu is varied, and reasonably priced. Well worth a visit.
