I do believe that Oban has the best fish. This restaurant is another place I visited for a fish tea along with my husband and grandaughters. We all thoroughly enjoyed our fish and chips, no bones. Well worth a visit.

Fine fish & chips, the best I've had in a while but sadly they no longer have a fish tea on the menu, which we all missed. Good big restaurant, not too long to wait for a table at 6pm but the place needed a clean especially the floor. Staff are quite young and seem quiet and hesitant. Prices are... More

We had lunch here during our stay and it was delicious. Very reasonable price and the girls who served us were very polite and super helpful with getting us in and out with a wheelchair. Would definitely recommend eating here.

Partner and I had dinner here during a weekend stay in Oban. We'd tried some take-away from another chippy but weren't that impressed so decided to give The Bay a go. Menu displayed outside lets you know the range of food and prices, so no nasty surprises. Our food was excellent quality - the steak pie was fab - and... More

Been here twice and lovely food Relatively OK for price and would go back again. Unforunately ran out of mussels the day we went in and my partner was a bit gutted as he had longed for them since our previous visit! Not a problem as the fish and chips were lovely.

Lovely modern stylish looking fish (and more) restaurant (takeaway available) right in the centre of Oban, immediately opposite the bay, with excellent views from the window & some outside seating on the street. Varied menu ranging from traditional fish and chips, to scampi, scallops, local butcher's burgers and pizza. Prices from about £6 upwards. Very reasonable. The food: hand cut... More

This restaurant has one of the prime locations in Oban & is advertised as a fish restaurant, however the experience was average. A large restaurant venue being only half filled on a sunny summer evening at 6pm...waiting staff apologising to surrounding tables for issues with orders...not the best impression for a first time customer!! Having ordered breaded lemon sole from... More

The DiCiacca family have been running successful restaurants in Oban for 3 generations. Onorio and Elvira first came to Oban from Picinisco, Italy in 1959 to open their first chip shop. The Family's dedication to their customers and delicious recipes with big Italian flavours, have kept the Locals and the Visitors to Oban full and happy for generations. Renato and son Antonio, continue this long line of culinary tradition with the Oban Fish Bar & Restaurant and Nories Fish & Chip shop, which is just a little further along on George Street in Oban. Being in The Seafood Capital of Scotland, The Oban Fish Bar & Restaurant offers a wide choice of Fish and Seafood to tantalise your taste buds, but for the non fish eaters amongst you, enjoy the hand cut chips, try the delicious homemade Italian dishes or give the Gourmet Burgers from the local butcher a go. Maybe you're looking for authentic handmade Stone Baked Italian Pizza's? We've got that covered as well. Renato also likes to keep up with the latest developments which means we now also offer Gluten Free batter so everyone can enjoy the DiCiacca Family's delicious dishes.
