After spending the weekend in Oban with my friend, her daughter and two well behaved dogs, we struggled to find a place to eat. Came across this little gem and spent 2 lovely days having a fabulous lunches and watching the boats sail by. Staff are super friendly, especially Kirsty. Food was delicious and it had a lovely atmosphere. Will... More

Friendly pub serving good wholesome pub grub at very reasonable prices. Excellent and friendly staff. Slightly out of the way from main thoroughfare in Oban but well worth checking out. Only a few minutes from the pier and town centre. Recommended.

Met with old friends over a few drinks in the afternoon, so was busy but not noisy. Great views out to sea. Good service, pleasant atmosphere. Does get very busy in the evenings from memory, but great for socialising with friends.

We stayed in Oban for 4 nights and spent every evening in this bar. A modern bar with Sky Sports and a comfortable and clean place to have a drink. the staff were friendly and helpful. They introduced me to the joys of Tenents lager, a must!

A cosy little traditional style pub. Probably holds a maximum of 40+ people, it boasts 4 large flat screen TVs for sports fans. Clean and warmly lit with low lights, and as a rarity...charging normal pub prices instead of premium hotel prices like most of the other bars. ( 2 double Courvoisier brandies, Coke, ice, lemon £9.... next door in... More

Stopped in for a drink on an evening during a recent stay in Oban on business. I loved the atmosphere of this place. It was dark, had good music, was a warm and comfortable place to sit and look out at the waves on a dark and windy night on the brink of winter. Service was friendly, drinks were fairly... More

Stopped in here during our Oban visit. It is a lovely little bar situated on the esplanade looking out on to Oban bay. It was very relaxing just sitting there watching the ferries and boats plying their trade. Staff were very welcoming. Would be nice if the were to invest in a real coffee machine instead of just instant, but... More

Been to Coasters many times in the past. The staff here are typical Scots - warm, friendly, welcoming and congenial. It's the best place in Oban to sit sipping a wine or quaffing a beer by the front windows watching the sun set over Kerrera. Spectacular - but come early! The food is excellent - the soups, sublime and there... More
