Very classic pub feel! The food was good, we had a tomato veg risotto and steak pie. Great atmosphere! I heard they have music at night but we were just stopping in. Service was great!

Went here on a Sunday after taking in some local sights and shopping and being turned away from other places not doing food or not allowing dogs. They were happy to have us, happy to accommodate 2 dogs. Food was good as was service, good value and a pleasant place to visit. If we had been back in the area... More

The sea food sharing platter for starter was OK, but the 'pan fried Sea bass' was very disappointing, it was very small and there was very little else to go with it, the Salmon salad was OK, neither meals were worth what we paid.

one of the best £5.00 menus I've ever eaten from, don't be mistaken that the portion sizes are small because it's only £5.00, they are huge, also great choices, service was excellent and staff are lovely. they also let you bring your dogs in to the bar.

Visited The Lorne with 18 members of our walking group. Best food in Oban! Very efficient service from Michelle, very attentive. The chef supplied us all with excellent food and very quickly.

Visited as a party of 18 for an eavening meal. Food was excellent and staff very attentive. Good choice on the menu and the beer was good to top off the eavening. The atmosphere is very good.

Old fashioned bar which grew on us over the evening. Very welcoming, good choice on the menu and we all chose 1 or 2 courses. Food was all hot, well presented and quickly served to all of us. Personally the Sea Bass and risotto was outstanding. Small dessert menu (most of us were too full to consider it). The young... More

We went here with an intention of eating. On arrival ordered drinks preferably a pint....was told gas was off. Okkkkk. No mention of when it would be back on. So we ordered a few bottles lager. Did not feel it with this place. Took a menu and sat outside as they have a covered area and non covered area. We... More
