We arrived shortly after they reopened for dinner (5:00pm), we were greeted promptly and shown to our table. Water and menus with the evenings specials were presented shortly after. Our answers were answered patiently thoroughly. We tried lobster and crab bisque for starters, a prawn special (can't pronounce the name), the scallop entree. My girls split a pizza. We all... More

restaurant did a 50% off main meals between certain times. Good quality food set in nice surroundings. All in all good food, reasonable prices and attentive staff compliment the dining experience. Would recommend.

We had a wonderful meal for my in-laws 40th wedding anniversary. Not our first visit and it's always our first choice for a family meal. The staff are fantastic, a real credit to Joan and Colin. We had the Sunday carvery today and the food was extremely varied and catered for everyone's tastes. Thanks again and we will of course... More

Relaxing warm family atmosphere with a very chilled no pressure vibe. We both enjoyed the seafood both starter and main.I was able to have a dairy gluten free dinner without comprising on anything. Oh and I'm also in a wheelchair which wasn't any problem which is so refreshing to enjoy the space and good facilities for my night out. The... More

Visited last week for evening meal. Starters were excellent, especially the smoked haddock fish cakes. All 4 mains were cooked to perfection, with the risotto and beef stroganoff particularly outstanding. Well done the chefs! Service was excellent and with 50% off mains - great value for money.

We were on a bus tour and it was a wet day so limited for scenic walking. We needed to eat early and we were looking for a decent fish restaurant. The waiter kindly let us in before opening time and served us wine. We didn't want a huge meal so saw on the menu there was Tempura Scallops, a... More

I went here with a large party of friends for Christmas lunch. While the price was good, the food was not and I left here feeling very, very disappointed. We went here on Sunday 18th December and there was no special Christmas lunch, instead we had the usual carvery that's provided on a Sunday. I had Salmon en croute, which... More

Had dinner tonight at the Olive Garden restaurant in Oban. First impression as we entered the restaurant, was a friendly warm and well furnished establishment. Service good, food excellent. Amenities spotless, I will definitely be back, and recommend this restaurant.
