Visited this evening 22/08/2016. Greeted well, felt very relaxed. Offered a boittleof water whilst we perused the menu, lots or choice and very reasonable price for bottles of wine. All portions of food were large and hot! Had no issues with the service or the food. Only let down was not beung able for a sweet as we were too... More

We stumbled into inveraray by chance after refusing to stay in dunoon and how glad are we that we did! Absolutely loved the place and this little restaurant is a real asset to the town. Meal was superb. I had the best salad I've ever had and my partner loved his burger and being a real burger snob it must... More

Had lunch here this week and didn't have much time as back at work within the hour. We had toastie and homemade coleslaw with fries, service was friendly and quick and the food yummy. Then we had a cheeky scone for the road!

Despite having visited Inveraray on several occasions we had never noticed this restaurant before but I can say it is a hidden gem, we had a lovely warm welcome, I chose the home made soup and a sandwich and the soup was delicious sweet potato & carrot. Both mine & my husbands freshly made sandwiches were lovely and the lady... More

Our other night in Inveraray we splurged at Samphire Seafood, which was good, but we felt this was a better value for the money. Unpretentious delicious food, great beer (Loch Fyne Highlander, what a discovery!) friendly efficient service.

The Cottage restaurant, Inverary is worth a visit, especially with a hearty appetite. It has a great choice of traditional fare. This is our second time visiting Inverary and we've been to the Cottage restaurant both times. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. The food is freshly prepared and service is very quick. I can recommend the salads, no... More

Walked in and asked if they had a table for 6 and a high chair to be told by the lovely staff "of course, we will make room!!!" We were given a table and menus! A few minutes later one of the lovely friendly waitresses came to take our drink and food orders!! All came out quickly considering how busy... More

Have now eaten a few times at this little restaurant, both as a cafe through the day and an evening restaurant. Every time very friendly staff, good variety of cakes, and range of evening meals. On the subject of evening meals, good size portions and very well priced and damn tasty food :) A must if you just want a... More

We found this restaurant just off the Main Street and decided to have our meal there. We were very pleased with our choices. My soup was lovely and full of flavour and definitely home made. My husband's chicken Caesar salad was lovely and he said it was one of the best he had tasted. The service was good too and... More

Nice family run restaurant with a good basic menu. Very friendly and really great meal. By the look of it ideal for kids too. You know you've found the right place when you get the last table and they are turning away people on a Wednesday night at 7.
