Work night out. In a slightly dodgy but improving area. Really good menu and our group cleaned their plates. Loved my hake dish. Live music on Friday night Relaxed and great for groups. Think most folk would enjoy.

Having made our reservation a month in advance and, being the sole purpose of our visit to Aberdeen, we eagerly awaited with bated breath the coming of Friday night. Several gastro-enthusiasts who toured the kitchens of the North East had pointed us in the direction of Cafe Musa .Unfortunately, no sooner had we arrived at the destination which promised so... Booked Musa for a group of 11 friends visiting Aberdeen for the first time. They all loved the menu options with a quirky take on Scottish cuisine. Perfect place to be nice and cosy on a cold February night.

It's probably been about 2-3 years since I have been, but I had some US contacts in town and I wanted somewhere to show off some great Scottish fare in a relaxed atmosphere, and that's exactly what we got! Big table for 8 accommodated across two church pews upstairs and although when I first looked at the table it was... More

Came in for our table booked for 7 people with 2 extras. I know this can be annoying for a restaurant so I apologised to which I never had any response. After moving some tables to accommodate us we ordered drinks, a few of our party were running late which I also understand can be an inconvenience for staff members.... More

I have been to Musa on a few occasions and never been disappointed. It is good food and atmosphere with no pretentiousness. The service staff were attentive and knowledgeable of the wine and beers. The food is delicious and portion sizes are exactly what I would expect from this style of restaurant (it also means you can squeeze in a... More

We were in the Granite City for a day and researched beforehand where we'd eat lunch. It wasn't our first choice, we looked at an Italian at the end of Union Street but didn't get good vibes outside. Onwards to the Musa and we'd no regrets! It was a quiet lunchtime but the waitress was welcoming and gave us time... More

Spur of the moment decision to revisit here (last time we were there was 2014) and we're delighted we went with gut instinct rather than opting to try some of the newer restaurants in Aberdeen. Warm welcome from friendly accommodating staff, who couldn't do enough for us, wide ranging drinks menu with great selection of gins, small menu selection but... More
