Small and nice restaurant that looked like an old church building. The food was excellent. Highly recommend the haggis sping roll starter and the ribeye steak. Haven't had haggis in years, but this was truly delicious. Nice touch with the spicy salsa. The live band was also very good. Not noisy, pleasently soft and cool. Just as it should be... More

A short walk away from the chain - restaurant laden Union Square is Musa. Lovely quirky place with very friendly staff and a great menu. Lots of choices with some locally sourced dishes. Everything we ordered was excellent including the Cullen Skink and venison. As we were early I had the three courses for £20 which they serve before 7pm.... More

Very good actually excellent and outstripped all expectations. Going out for a meal one always has expectations, I read reviews accross the board for food from fast food to fine cuisine, this is very good, there I was thinking Aberdeen couldnt surprise me, though I have been for lunch, the evening atmosphere was brilliant. Live, yes live background music, subtle... More

My father and I went out for a catch up last week and after a pint decided we would head to musa, I tell you I'm delighted we did. Friendly staff, a great choice of beer and a great steak deal (steak supper club: wine, starter, steak and desert for two £60) if your there early enough. (Pre 7pm tue-Thursday)... More

Favourite of ours in Aberdeen and Thursday night didn't disappoint. Restaurant has an incredibly cool vibe, amazing drink offering with an interesting wine list, great food and excellently knowledgeable staff. Ox Tongue and Peat Smoked Pate Starters Lemon sole and Venison Loin. Mains. Washed down with Malbec and Albarino. Always good anytime we have been in, would happily recommend.

My goodness, served by a waitress who apeared to want to be anywhere else than serving up meals - which in turn made us feel that we wished we were also somewhere else too. 3 medium steaks ordered, all came out well done - so well done chef for not knowing the difference between a medium and well done steak.... Booked Musa after being let down by another well known restaurant in Aberdeen and so glad I did ! I was looking for a small intimate setting for a group of us catching up 30 years after our graduation . From the minute I enquired John Kelman was fabulous , created a bespoke menu for us including welcome fizz with... More
