I was greeted with a warm welcome and was surprised with the variety of soft drinks, smoothies, beers, wines and indeed coffee that there was. To add to that there was plenty of cakes and biscuits and treats to choose from. I went for the carrot cake and a slab of carrot cake I got! Excellent stuff! Lovely creamy topping... More

Going in this morning (Tuesday 9th August) twice, once by myself and once with friends and my baby in the pram, I was welcomed with a smile by the staff, who delivered my tasty cappuccino and a pain au chocolat in good time. Big thank you to Hemma, George, and Anna for their good service! :)

Delicious coffee and brownie. Very nice atmosphere and the selection of sandwiches. Nice service with a good support to families with babies.

My partner and I have been to the coffee house quite a few times recently and I have to say there hasn't been a visit with disappointment. The soup and sandwich is a great deal at £7.45 which you get a greatly filled sandwich(with many tasty flavours to choose from) and a reasonably sized bowl of soup. There are usually... More

The staff are very unhelpful, i took my family for a light lunch whilst they were visiting me last week and my little sister is GF. The cashier could not have been anymore unpleased to be answering our questions. She was blunt with us and we are a very friendly and easily pleased family, so we just tried to gauge... More

Went in a couple of Sundays ago for a cold drink and cake with my friend. Had to wait for the customer in front to be served, then another customer who pushed in front, had something the matter with her glass so she was seen to. Meanwhile I waited and waited and waited some more! The young man behind the... More

Service was good. The bread used for the sandwich seemed stale. The ladies toilets were filthy. I had been before and enjoyed our lunch but not this time. Plenty other cafes cleaner and cheaper in Aberdeen. Will not be returning.

I like this place. But man it's so noisy. Because it's good it's busy. The benches and tables and atmosphere has a buzz. Problem is you stand in line waiting to be served listening to the coffee machine getting bashed. The acoustics of the open space mean sounds fills the room. At least they're not playing music as well. It... More

We are an independent lunchtime destination serving well priced freshly made soup and sandwiches from same day baked organic bread using local ingredients and quality ingredients where the filling is not local. Our soups are made on the premises same day as are all our cakes. Our coffee is roasted locally (one street away) and we don't use preservatives. We aim to provide quality and taste with a smile. Do come try us. We look forward to seeing you. The Coffee House Team.
