Restaurant is part of the Hilton Hotel which isn't too clear on TA. Not much around the beach area and, for a hotel restaurant, it's not bad. On this occasion, Cullen Skink, which had plentiful amount of fish. Main was a fillet steak. The mash was a tad lumpy. I'll probably keep going back here when I stay at the... More

First time that I had eaten at this restaurant and will be my last. Service was shocking, we waited almost 40 minutes to be served not even offered a drink prior to this. When we were served the drinks the order was wrong. The food that was provided was tasteless, tasted better from frozen! At almost £17 per meal it... More

Not a bad hotel but a bit too close to the freezing chill of the north sea for me. Traveled a while ago with a bunch of guys so it was fine for us. Ate fish and chips the first night - awesome, that thing mustve been flapping about in the sea a few hours beforehand it was sooooooo fresh.... More

I arranged to meet my 2 grown up grandsons for a coffee at this hotel and because I have a tiny blind dog I went on the internet to check if she would be allowed in. The information on the net stated this was a dog friendly hotel so I took her in the car with me. Not wanting to... More

Went on-line to stay a Friday night - £70 for " B&B. okay, but we decide to upgrade to a "Platinum" room which is in a separate building. for a few pounds more, we got a much larger room/suite with free WiFi and a drinks voucher for each... Stopped off at the Patio for coffee and meeting. Really great fast and attentive service. Coffee - excellent tasting, and a good place for a personal/business meetings.

Gave the restaurant a try due to the awful weather outside. Frankly if I had not been by myself on business I'd have been very disappointed. Food was ok but menu was very limited. Service was dire! Certainly i would expect better from a Hilton. Don't know if poor service was because I was situated in a neglected part of... More

The worst type of hotel restaurant. Cold and lacking in atmosphere. Food very expensive, small portions and poor quality. You could get much more for your money elsewhere.

I can only imagine that company expense accounts and room service are the order of the day here. Typical hotel chain, with it's overpriced average produce. In addition, the extra yardage carrying the food from the kitchen across the road to the platinum club was very poor indeed and cold at times. Menu was OK but underwhelming. Plenty of better...
