We came across the Cove a few years ago and it has never been beaten for a meal whilst visiting the Aberdeen area. Great food good service and value for money. Crackin view of the Ocean from the main area of the resteraunt. Please remember and book prior to arrival to avoid disappointment. Plenty of car parking

My husband and I decided to try the cove bay hotel for lunch and were not dissapointed. As it was a sunny afternoon we asked manager if we could possibly get a table at the window overlooking the sea. He said I'm sorry they are reserved or full however minutes later when a table became vacant he came over and said... More

Went here for tea after work with family member and a friend, was shown too a table very quickly and drink order was taken at the same time, drinks arrived quite quickly and food order was taken at this time, a little slow on food arriving, was asked if we would like any sauces etc, we asked for a small... We visited the Cove Bay Hotel for the first time this evening as we were stuck for somewhere new to visit. The restaurant has a nice ambiance and staff are very welcoming and friendly. Try to ask for a table beside the window so that you get an amazing view of the north sea. To start we had the sharing... More

Although the food and service was good this place needs a shot in the arm. Seemed so laid back and it effected everything. The specials were of a good selection. Not a good place for the disabled.

I go here quite often, the staff are great and so is the food. The restaurant is a lovely place with views over the north Sea. The bar also hosts the same view and the locals are friendly. The rooms have been recently decorated and are a comfy place to end your night after a couple drinks.

Make sure you make a reservation for one of the tables by the window. That's the main draw of the place. I had the fish and chips. It's a huge portion. Enough for two smaller eaters to share easily.

Food was great, but the servers disappeared. We had to hunt someone down several times, including when we needed to pay. We stayed here, and breakfast was a similar scenario.

Staff are very efficient, opportunity to pre-order food and can enjoy lunch without worrying about being late back to work because service is spot on. Excellent choice of food and also option of smaller portions. Highly recommended.

My fiancé and I had dinner here on Friday 24th June, we haven't been here before and hadn't booked a table and even although they were busy they still managed to fit us in, everything was great from start to finish, I had the salsa nachos and my fiancé the Brie wedges, which were lovely then we both had the...
