Me and my husband visited after a long day of shopping I was so hungry and couldn't wait for some good pub grub ! I ordered the chicken enchilada & he ordered the beef! Thinnest one piece of beef I've ever seen! Chicken was literally the precooked frozen crap and the sauce was like just tomato purée it was that... More

Went to Badgers last night after a day of driving along the Antrim coast. When we arrived about 7:30, it was not very busy but the staff was warm and friendly. We had fish and chips (not great quality but ok) and the chicken naan (delicious). The older gentleman barkeep had an eagle eye and kept everyone happy. They put... More

Don't get in very often but when I do I'm always blown away by how friendly the staff are. Nothing is ever a bother and they always seem so happy to help you. I was in today with my husband and son, I was going to fold the pram down so it wouldn't be in the way, was told don't... More

Was there to walk around the wall that surrounds old Derry. Had lunch at Badgers. Food was good. Service was excellent. Atmosphere pleasant. Would recommend it to anyone in the area.

Disappointing food in a tourist trap area, only took shelter because of the weather. Staff friendly.but let down by the overpriced and below average food and poor quality . When are these pubs going to realise that visitors want authentic local food . Avoid if you can

Batter on fish and chips was heavy and greasy. The menu had chinese, Indian, Mexican, American, Italian and British food. Hard to do it all well. Wine by the glass was served in 187 ml bottles which also is a warning sign for me.

Badgers is a nice pub with good food but you must get there early as on some days it does get very busy and you could be waiting but good service and reasonable prices.

Positive points: no tv, excellent service, reasonable priced food, good ambience, central location. Negstive: menu lacks imagination and is standard pub fare. No real ales, local or otherwise.
