My friend and I called in here for coffee and treats as it looked wonderful. When paying I informed the lady that I would be paying in euro, no problem she said and went on to tell me that my 10 euro note was worth 6 pounds 50p. I told her that the exchange rate is 85 which should have... More

Went in here for a coffee to very unhelpful staff ... Ordered my coffee at 1.75p I gave €20 and was given 8 pound change ! I asked what the exchange rate was and they went on to tell me it that my €20 was only worth £13 so not only was I being ripped off with my euro I... More

Clippers in Derry. Stopped for coffee to watch and take a breather! Ordered two large coffee and two scones from a variety of choices. Service with a smile and the price was very reasonable, I thought the lady had made a mistake. I will be back to this little piece of Heaven

We like to go here for coffee as it's one of the few places where you can sit outside on a sunny day with a view of the river. The food is normal coffee shop fare , scones , cakes ,sandwiches etc. If getting your wrap or sandwich toasted ask them to leave it on longer as it usually comes out... As I noted in my last review of this place, it needed competition. This has duly arrived in the guise of the excellent Primrose on the Quay and what a surprise an instant change in attitude in the coffee house. So much more welcoming and customer focused. The coffee is as good as ever as are the traybakes and I... More

Make good scones, be sure you ask for toasties to be fairly well done. On our last 2 visits our coffee lattes were lukewarm as opposed to a bit hotter.

My husband and I ate here Sunday 24th January and we had a lovely welcoming experience. I have in the past had issues but on this occasion every thing about the experience was first rate. We were welcomed at the counter and a table found very quickly as it was really busy with cyclists. The food o itself was beautiful... More

This is a nicely situated little restaurant, boasting a beautiful setting overlooking the River Foyle. It's unfortunate that the pleasant vista is not etched on the faces of the two female proprietors who, during my visit, appeared as if they were eating raw rhubarb! I noticed that food was stored above where filled rubbish bags were placed and I was... More

The "sour bake" owners look so miserable. I have spoken to so many people who have boycotted this place because of their lack of friendliness and customer service. I must say their baking is nice but I don't want a scone that much! Sitting in the cafe you feel so uncomfortable as the unfriendly sour dough bake at the till... More

I work close to this coffee house and have been in to buy my lunch 6/7 times. Few months ago I made a conscious decision to stop giving them my money. (I'm not the only person at my large office who has stuck to this decision either.) Firstly, the girls behind the counter are lovely, can't fault them. It's the... More
