Needed a coffee and popped in here. Ended up having lunch. Great soup and brown bread: lovely sandwich and good coffee: hit the spot! Nice atmosphere and friendly staff.

Great to see a local cafe offering superfood salade and juices. So important that places have a healthy option too. That's what I ordered and was not disappointment. I will be back. Lots of variety on the menu too- stew, soups, sandwiches, scones.

The walking tour is how we found this place (£4 and well with it. John was awesome) The atmosphere is great and they even give you a free tea with your tour.

We came across Java after our brief stop in Derry to explore the city walls, as we were looking for a quick lunch before heading on our way up to Malin Head. It was a great find, with delicious and healthy salads and great tea. A perfect light lunch during a busy day, and the prices were very reasonable.

After a trip around the City Walls of Derry it was time for a snack. We heard about the baked goods at Java and we were NOT disappointed. Best Scones EVER! Well done, Java!
