Lunch at Browns

This is a proper restaurant serving well- cooked fresh food. The sweet potato and fennel soup was excellent Our fish was very fresh and the chips were tasty and ample. Altogether excellent value at £10 for two courses.

Really good food and very nicely presented. Layout could do with a makeover as it is far from the restaurant's best feature. Not cheap but worth it if you're keen to treat yourself

"it may have taken a while to get to my mouth, but I've found the best restaurant on the planet." It was a special occasion, the first anniversary of me donating a kidney to my mother and we chose the best restaurant. I felt like royalty when i walked in the door. The meat melt in my mouth. My servers... More

Venison dropped for Woodcock. Always found venison a very tasty dish, cooked well and presented well. The sommelier appeared disinterested, a lady in... More
