Popped in for a quick drink, very friendly and relaxed. Food was being served in the next room which looked lovely so would return for that

Payed a visit with my partner and her young relations last Saturday and it was just the ticket. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the food was lovely and good value for money too and to top it all the kids ate free.

Myself and five family selected the Anchor Bar based on previous favourable reviews and were not disappointed. The Blts were especially tasty ,the bacon being a stand out,and the French fries were delicious.Service was very attentive and the cost was excellent value.

Wonderful experience and Andy won as well. Do go as it was better than a restaurant we ate at in Northern Ireland that was... More

Got a fish supper half the size of a normal Chippy or most pubs I have been in. Wouldn't say it was value for money £8.00 but it was very nice

Wow what a little hidden gem - I drive past The Anchor every week but I've never really thought about calling in until a work colleague told me about the great selection of drink they have. Needless to say I had to check it out! Well I decided to kill two birds with one stone as the kids wanted to... More
