Have called here several times before for breakfast or lunch in the past and always been very good. We visited again this morning for breakfast before heading home as staying up in area over weekend. As usual the place was VERY busy which is fine and understandable as the food and coffee is great however, since our last visit it... More

A great place for brunch and coffee although the fry is best. Would also commend the scones and porridge. Great staff and location in a beautiful part of God's creation

We had lunch at this place this afternoon. On the whole, it was not a bad experience. Pricing seems reasonable, and staff... More

Nice place for a coffee and cake. Lovely paninis etc. Really busy place although a wee bit slow despite a good number of staff. Worst thing though is the failure of staff to police the people who reserve tables before they get near the counter. There is a sign stating you must not take a table till you have been... More

This was a fallback as our intention had been to go to the cafe opposite but it had no seats left - it was our gain. Couldn't fault the welcome, service, value and the food - now we've a new first choice in Newcastle.
