We were seated & drink orders taken straight away. The good points - the food was excellent. We ordered mains of sea bass, pork belly & rack... More

The Poker tree Ale pie was also very good. Most dishes came with vegetables and 2 different potato sides which were very good. The Bailey's cheesecake was... More

Visited the Friary Restaurant at Armagh City Hotel with 2 other members of my family and was blown away! I had never tried gnocchi before but the gnocchi starter was delicious; All plates of food were presented beautifully and tasted great. The mains were equally as sublime, the steak was the most tender I have ever tested. Can't wait to... More

A meal on the road for us and we were glad to be looked after. With a restricted diet for my guy, there were many dishes he couldn't order so we both went for steak. The description of what came with the steak took up more space on the menu than it did on the plate! In order to get... More

Average meal selection. Not cordon blue, but OK food. Service bit irratic. Different waiting staff all attending, no one specifically in charge of specific tables. Think hotel should look at this aspect as we felt we just had to catch the attention of passing staff.
