We dined here sometime ago, the food was dreadful. When we brought it to the owners wifes attention she publically berated the young waitress. We were extremely embarrassed and have never returned,

Just ok would be my opinion...service was very slow, carpets could do with a good clean and only one loo didn't go down too well on a busy Sunday night. Food was reasonable - I got the burger...hard to go wrong perhaps but they were tasty & well presented. Friends got salmon - not impressed at all! Don't think we'll... More

We were in a hurry but this wasn't an issue for the restaurant. We had prompt, friendly service and charming interaction with the owner. The food was delicious and the bill more than reasonable. Highly recommended.

Vegetable soup that granny would have highly approved of and a wonderful Irish roast beef supper. Service was a bit slow due to large Sunday crowd (all locals...we seemed to be the only blow ins) but we... More

Had tea tonight with a friend, food & service excellent. Staff v competent & friendly, especially Luke & Oisin who took time to chat even though they were v busy. Slight downside was some of the various musicians who were playing for culture night; some more talented than others!

We went here for tea and scone break after spending the day in the city. It looked good and the menu was quite extensive for snacks. Enjoyed the opportunity to have a pot of tea which was made without teabags. It was very nice.Raspberry and walnut scone was also very nice. However, as we had quite a trip to get... More

This restaurant is one of the best I ate in. The food is second to none, the portions are huge and the service is excellent. The staff are friendly and John the owner always has time to welcome his customers and have a chat.
