Good food, excellent and knowledgeable staff, good selection of wines. This place is in the hart of the city and easy to find. It doesn't have to break the bank either.

We arrived at 8:50pm wondering if the kitchen was still open - absolutely no problem. Even though the menu said food service finished at 9, we weren't rushed into making a decision and when we only wanted to order starters each, that also was not an issue. The food arrived after about 10 mins and my caesar salad was obviously... More

Great food in a great city centre location, however the menu was very limited (which was a dog eared single sheet of paper on a clip board that seems to be common in the area!!) Staff friendly. Would definitely visit again.

Was advised this place was really eccentric and boy doe it live up to that. What a place it's absolutely amazing. Great service in an amazing building . We had the steak sandwich and it was served pink and was superb. I bet this place gets lively in the evenings. Well worth a visit

Awful synthetic lemon cake served by an indifferent waitress . If you are looking for any kind of afternoon tea experience this is not the place. Tired dusty decor shabby and past its best .

Stopped in for a drinks and nibbles with colleagues. The surroundings are salubrious if dated. The promise of finesse and class wasn't exactly delivered. The woman singing was very talented but the sound was so bad she could hardly be heard clearly.

Having been here before for lunch, we decided to try again for dinner. The grand interior is impressive and unexpected when you first visit. Although we hadn't booked, it wasn't long before we were accommodated with a table. Staff were friendly from the off and service was rather quick. We had both a starter and a main course on this...
