Four of us had dinner in Safa on a Saturday evening. Service excellent Quality and taste of all courses were if a high standard. The only drawback was the excessive heat in the restaurant - no A/C

Was here in May as part of a group celebrating a friend's birthday. We were really well catered for by enthusiastic and friendly staff. The food was excellent with all present declaring their meals to be good. Very good value topped off our evening.

Top service, welcoming caring staff, swift response to requests and above all excellent dishes. If you come late in the evening the lighting in the street leads the way to this little pearl.

I never ever leave reviews but actually downloaded trip advisor just because I feel like I need to let the world know how fantastic my experience was in Safa. The price was great, the range of choice was unbelievable, the staff were all lovely and smiley and the food was out of this world. The curry was so tasty and... More

Place was comfortable. Had seen a positive review for an onion-based curry so we tried it with lamb and it was thoroughly enjoyable ... but the saag aloo and the mushroom sides were really excellent. The saag aloo combined the traditional saag treatment of spinach with the Irish preoccupation with the perfect potato: the dish melted in your mouth. The... More

This is a great Indian restaurant that provides authentic and tasty Indian food. Hasan & Wesley were friendly and provided great service above a really quaint Irish pub. Highly recommend you eating here.

We visit Safa every now and again and as always - last night, we weren't disappointed. The friendliest staff and the food was just great. Have visited other Indian restaurants but Safa is still our favourite.

After visiting India last year & experiencing real authentic Indian food, I wasn't sure whether the food would be that authentic. I was most certainly surprised !! There were 4 of us, each ordering something different and we were all very very impressed. The set-up is lovely, everything is spotless & its in the heart of the city centre making... More

Our starter, meat samosa was good but I bit zippy. The lamb dopiaza was so very delicious. Our chicken korma was sweeter than what we are used too. A bit too sweet for us. The naan, pilau rice, and poppadam went nicely with our meal. Our service was friendly and the food was hot. A very nice dinner near the... More

Excellent tasty meal with some usual dishes that I haven't seen in other restaurants. Waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and different spices and happy to advise. Great friendly service.

Description
Contemporary Indian cuisine, located on bank street in the heart of Belfast City centre. At Safa we offer authentic Indian recipes and traditional style of cooking. Ali takes great pride in cooking to order and grinding all his own spices so it really is the closest to Indian home cooking you can get. We also have a full bar and incredible wine list.
