Had not been here in years as last time I was there the seating was uncomfortable however all changed now - comfortable padded chairs have replaced the hard wooden ones. Had a lovely lunch - extensive menu to choose from - food quality was really good and prices were reasonable. Staff all very attentive and friendly. Will definitely be back.

We recently got married and since we had only a small gathering we booked the Temple for the meal. What can I say, the staff were very attentive and warmly welcomed our guests. The manager had arranged the tables so that we were sitting together and accepted our wedding cake and wine earlier in the day so when we arrived... More

We have been here a couple of times for lunch but most recently we had a meal at Temple earlier this month for a joint birthday / engagement celebration and it was great, so I had to write them a review! Staff bent over backwards to get us everything we needed: highchairs, cocktails, champagne glasses (complete with strawberries inside!), putting... More

Visited the Temple with my partner and another couple. Friendly staff and well priced menu - 3 courses for £15 or you could opt for the 2 course! Starters where well proportioned and cooked well (mushrooms, garlic bread and soup). The only thing was that the mushrooms looked like they had been reheated again!! Mains all lovely would recommend the... More

Another place I have been going to for many years and it's still just as good as always. The staff are friendly and efficient. The menu has a nice selection, with different menus for different times of the day. The food is excellent and at very reasonable prices. A great busy bistro atmosphere. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

I attended at 8pm on a Saturday night with a party of 27. The menu was amazing but I honestly have never seen service like it. Even though it was a large party ALL of our starters arrived together and the same with the main course and sides. It's been a long time from I have been so impressed with... More

Absolutely love Temple whether it be for a romantic dinner or Sunday dinner with the kids. Staff are so welcoming and friendly. Service is very efficient. I usually get the breaded mushrooms for a starter (I get these no matter where I go but Temple's are my absolute favourite) the sauce on them is gorgeous. I went last week and... More
