Went in for a very special occasion and was not disappointed! Lots of options for vegetarians and incredibly fresh ingredients. We'd like to give another thank you to Mr Abdul for taking care of us that day, whilst still affording us some privacy. He was very friendly and offered some great choices for us to try! I'd recommend the cheeseboard for... More

Not very busy on the weeknight we visited, to the extent that it felt a bit lifeless. Service was o.k., but nothing special. Same for the food, extensive enough menu, but not awe inspiring. Overall, we might use again for a pre-theatre meal, but probably not for anything else.

We had lunch here quite by accident . But what a good choice it was ! We were the only people in the restaurant but our waiter was most attentive & courteous without being intrusive or overbearing . We both chose the same dish from the menu & again what a good choice we made . The chicken curry with... More

Visited the Causerie whilst on a recent business trip, could not fault the food it was excellent. There is a wonderful ambience in the restaurant, the decor is very tasteful with a touch of luxury. Service was very slow, we waited an eternity for someone to take our order. There was also an extensive wait between courses which was difficult... More

We decided quite late on in the evening just to dine in the hotel. Seated quickly. Good choice on the menu. I had the sausages and mash and my partner had the burger. Both came fairly quickly and were delicious. We shared a peanut butter cheesecake for dessert which we both enjoyed. We thought the food was fairly priced but... More

Staying in hotel and decided to have evening meal for convenience. Service was slow. Food below average and poor quality. Way overpriced.

We booked for Pre-Theatre Dinner. Staff very helpful on booking and arrival. Food was pleasant but not as good as what we were expecting. The main problem was that service was very slow for a Pre-Theatre sitting. We noticed this when we arrived. We waited for order to be taken. We waited for drinks. We noticed other tables were checking... More

Dear Dixiebelle751 I am delighted that you enjoyed the meal and thought the presentation so pleasing. Our Chefs work hard to put together a menu that we feel competes with some of the best restaurants in the City as well as offering good value for money. I am pleased the Causerie staff were pleasant and friendly and will pass on... More
