Similar food as served below in the market, but you can sit comfortable up here and watch the world go past. Simple recipes, fast service. Less choice if food than on ground floor, but better place to relax

Food was at top end of pub grub standard, plentiful in terms of quantity and pretty reasonable in price. Plenty of different beers to choose from and very friendly staff who went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Situated directly above the George Market it is an ideal place to grab a bite and a few beers

St George's market should be on your list of places to visit while in Belfast. It has a vibrant atmosphere and varied stalls, including food. The cafe overlooks the market. The service although friendly was a little disorganised. Drinks were ordered with the meal but didn't arrive until after we'd finished eating. The food orders were a little mixed up... More

We have enjoyed breakfast here many times before sitting on the balcony looking out over the market today we sat inside not far from the kitchen so we had a good view of things, l was appalled at the way the chefs used their hands to dish the food out, and when the waiter came to collect a breakfast with... Very pleasant staff. Booked Christmas lunch with friends here as was very reasonable for lunch at this time of year. Had to pre book and pay a deposit in advance. Meals very nice and very nice staff. Were not rushed. Only complaint and very small but was a bit cold. Will def return.

I have seen this market in spring and winter. Fun place to shop and eat. Never know what you'll find.

Well established restaurant with a balcony overlooking the excellent St George's market. Five of us had a late breakfast and each dish was amazing. The veggie brekkie was very tasty and coupled with a coffee, it was the perfect start to a day in the town. Will be back to sample the dinner menu.

visited here on the sunday which I understand is the best day, was live music with a small swing troupe whom were very good. Mix of stalls, and centrally located, (opposite waterfront hall). wee bit too many food stalls I thought but still worth a visit.

This is a fantastic old covered market square. We visited on Saturday PM and Sunday AM: Food, meat, fish, art, 2nd hand, books, and life music. Fantastic place with so many locals meeting, drinking coffee/thee, eating snacks and enjoying the sphere. Place to be to buy an art souvenir or an 2nd hand object or book. Really a must see... More
