Well established restaurant with a balcony overlooking the excellent St George's market. Five of us had a late breakfast and each dish was amazing. The veggie brekkie was very tasty and coupled with a coffee, it was the perfect start to a day in the town. Will be back to sample the dinner menu.

visited here on the sunday which I understand is the best day, was live music with a small swing troupe whom were very good. Mix of stalls, and centrally located, (opposite waterfront hall). wee bit too many food stalls I thought but still worth a visit.

This is a fantastic old covered market square. We visited on Saturday PM and Sunday AM: Food, meat, fish, art, 2nd hand, books, and life music. Fantastic place with so many locals meeting, drinking coffee/thee, eating snacks and enjoying the sphere. Place to be to buy an art souvenir or an 2nd hand object or book. Really a must see... More

Very friendly staff. A good start. Pleasant house wine. A bit of a wait for food, despite there being few customers. But no matter. Then a starter (beetroot with blue cheese, etc.) made mediocre thanks to the tired and droopy rocket incorporated within the salad. A reasonable main course - linguine with crab - but a little dry and under-seasoned.... More

Went for breakfast Saturday morning. Restaurant was busy but we were able to get a table quite quickly. Ordered 2 coffees- waited a while and when it did arrive the waiter had such a shake a lot of mine went into the saucer. I asked for a new saucer and when he was away getting this I realised the coffee... More

This place is well worth a visit. Almost all of the food is sourced from the stall holders in the market and the freshness shines through in the food. Indeed if you sit on the balcony (bring your coat!) you can see most of the food you will be eating in its raw form. I had the cooked breakfast which... More

Visited for early dinner so we could enjoy the twilight market which was happening at the same time. We took a balcony seat which overlooks the market so we were totally immersed in the atmosphere and smells of all the food stalls below. We were a party of four three of us had the burger and chips a fourth had... More

Great spot to enjoy a lazy Sunday Brunch. Take in the atmosphere and live music at the award winning St George's Market. Georges of the market is situated through what you could say the main entrance on the east side. Once through the entrance there is a Door leading to stairs to the first floor. The restaurant has ample booth... More
