The night was ruined when a loud obnoxious drunk at the table next to us spent the best part of his main course shouting and swearing his head off in front of tables of embarrassed diners. How this person was allowed to continue to dine was beyond belief or even allowed in in the first place. The staff who had... More

A must visit in Belfast!! You start to wonder where you are headed as it is located down an alleyway!! This however creates suspense and an overwhelming sense of excitement as you enter the restaurant!! The food is first class!!! Superb staff, very friendly with attention to detail! Had the best panda cotta ever!!!!! Felt like dining in a Michelin... More

My wife and I had a meal in Molly's Yard to celebrate our 30 Wedding anniversary in May. It was recommended by our children who had eaten in Molly's Yard some weeks before and they really enjoyed it. We were not disappointed, the evening was cosy, intimate and highly enjoyable . The waitress was so attentive and set about making... More

An early door meal for two following a mile or so stroll out from the city centre to stimulate our appetite. A warm welcome on arrival, an inticing menu and Hilden ales. It looked good! My wife ordered soup of the day. It was delicious. I plumped for smoked mackerel with pickled vegetables and prawn butter. The dish was a... More

This place had been on our 'to do' list for ages and we finally got around to trying it last week. Even on a Thursday night it was packed - I highly recommend booking in advance. We both went for the Slow Roast Shoulder of Goat, served with the best gnocchi I have ever tasted, Kim chi red cabbage and... More

Just enjoyed a super evening at Molly's Yard. First time eating here and will be back. The welcome from staff their attitude and attention was the best we've experienced in a long time. The quality of food, presentation the intimate atmosphere all combined to make it a memorable evening.

Molly's Yard, at first sight, is a pub but it is not. It is strictly a sit-down restaurant that really needs to be booked in advance as it is very popular. The menu is short but carefully considered, with lots of local ingredients getting starring roles. The menu does need to be read in detail. I chose the "fish of... More

We popped in here, as my friend had wanted to eat here for a while. We were not disappointed. I had the mussels to start which are great. Then I had a burger such was very tasty. We took home some fudge such was also fab. Would highly recommend, especially as the meal was very reasonably priced.

Beautiful, cosy restaurant in central Belfast. I've been trying to get a seat at this Belfast gem for a few years, having always been intrigued by the striking door. I finally managed it whilst some friends were visiting. Good service, good selection of beers and delicious food. I had the black-pudding and pork belly fritters (which were crispy, salty and...
