Great lunch. Good choice of menu and good prices. It's being your own at the moment which is a hassle if you don't know. Little bit cold when I visited but apart from that great lunch

I visited with a large group of friends and thought the food was fantastic. We had a good variety of the dishes between us and everyone really enjoyed theirs. The restaurant was super busy and the staff did a good job looking after us. Only drawback maybe that it got really hot as it's such a small place and was... More

Two of us had lunch here yesterday. I had the wild mushroom risotto which was delicious and I think possibly one of the best risottos I have ever had. My friend had the pulled pork spicy wrap which came with a side of chunky chips. She thought her wrap was very good as well as the chunky chips which i... More

Went for pre Theatre dinner as we were going to Opera house. HANDY location as just 5 minutes walk away up the street. Nice atmosphere, food traditional style nothing fancy, which is good as it sets u up for a few drinks if you wish. Bring your own alcohol. Table close together and you would need to book for weekends.... More

Started with the goats cheese fritters (highly recommended and memorable) followed by a seafood risotto dish which was tasty, though misnamed as it was fish rather than seafood. I certainly didn't complain as I love fish and this was melt in your mouth delicious with a smoked fish added for just the right amount of flavour!

Booked for a rare night out on Friday with friends, Rhubarb sounded like my type of place, relaxed dining and BYO! I WAS WRONG! The place was very busy, and noisy...we got our table quickly after another group were 'moved along'. The waitress was very pleasant and brought glasses etc for our drinks. No menu's though! Once we caught their... More

Visited this place 2 days ago. It is a very busy restaurant with a nice chatty environment and clean simple decor. Staff was very welcoming, making sure we have enough drinks. Agree with some of the other comments, the place feels like it can hire one more member for serving as all the staff were sort of half running. Food... More

Managed to get a last minute reservation for a Friday night. BYOB restaurant. Place was packed upon entering. Positives were: food very tasty. Drinks brought promptly. Staff pleasant. Negatives: very slow service (there appeared to be only 2 members of wait staff on for the whole restaurant. I felt for them!). Far too noisy - though it's a small place... More

I had a solo Valentines dinner at the newly enlarged and refurbished Rhubarb restaurant. Chef/proprietor Danish and partner Arun had the opportunity to buy the reptile store beside and extend the restaurant into what it is today, a super spot which can fit upto 70 people. Great for intimate dinners or parties!! There are two entrances one on each side... More
