I have eaten Sunday lunch here several times before so knew what to expect...high quality food, attentive service and pleasant surroundings. I was not disappointed! The starter buffet is outstandingly and unfailingly excellent featuring the most delicious salmon!! Smoked salmon, salami etc also available with lots of delicious salads including prawn Marie rose, egg mayo, puy lentils etc etc etc....... More

Absolutely cozy, very sweet staff and extremely professional. After the first day everybody knew the way and what I ike for breakfast; they all behaved and made me feel like I was part of this big Irish family; just love it and coming back soon

This is a review of the food and service in the Malmaison Bar, not the Brasserie (which is excellent and I can't fault) I had a voucher for a burger, fries and a drink from Treat Ticket and went in expecting a much better experience than I received. I was 'greeted' by an unfriendly female American-sounding waitress who immediately took... More

Visited this evening. Beautiful restaurant and certainly feels upmarket. Had the steak which was cooked to perfection. One gripe which is why I've given 4 stars. The chips are those skinny things one would associate with that DcMonalds fast food outlet or Kurger Bing - see what I did there 😜 - though to be fair they taste more 'potatoey'... More

My friend and I wanted a lunch experience during our day trip to Belfast which was more than panini and filled rolls, and we certainly found it here. We stumbled upon Malmaison on our way into the city centre from Belfast Titanic. We were surprised that we were the only people in the restaurant but went ahead and ordered three... More

The food is great if brasseries are your type of thing, with better prices and deals before about 7/7:30. The service is a little slow so we waited about 40 minutes for steaks - kitchen must be some way away for them to take that long!

We opted for the set menu however struggled to find much that was liked. Many items on the menu were not available, it felt like an endless list of things that we could not have when we sat down. The pate came with virtually no bread and the fish was extremely dry with no seasoning. The service was unbelievably slow... More

The full irish breakfast is the cherry on the top of the cake for this hotel! High ceilings, fun atmosphere, and incredible staff! Maria was especially wonderful! She not only recommended dishes to us when we were "recreational eating", she helped us with the WiFi. She also recommended many other spots over our time in Belfast. GREAT SERVICE MARIA!

Description
Set in an imposing historic building on Belfast’s central Victoria Street, Malmaison is an ultra contemporary, ultra chic, urban retreat. The team behind Malmaison know that hotels aren’t just a place for sleeping, which is why a lot of thought and bags of style have gone in to the resident Brasserie, a hot spot in its own right. With its modernist feel the dining room has hints of 30s deco in its attractive black and red interior. Curved booths and luxurious upholstery are joined by sleek wood and low lighting while service is friendly yet unobtrusive. Two menus – one the simple brasserie menu, the other home grown and local – celebrate the best of Ireland’s ingredients while offering food which appeals to all palates.
