We loved our meal at The Barking Dog so much, we returned the following evening and enjoyed it even more! Varied menu with offering for the vegetarians and non-vegetarians in our party. The service was excellent - friendly and very informative about the offerings. The...More

Very difficult to imagine that anyone could fault this excellent restaurant Tasty and unusual food choice, fine wine and a good atmosphere and service. It's also a short walk if you're staying anywhere near Eglantine Avenue. The Squid Ink Ravioli and the Pork were superb...More

We had imagined Ireland would be a paradise for craft beer lovers, but alas. Many very nice restaurants have limited beer selections. The Barking Dog had great beer and great food, so we were all happy. Our beer lovers raved about the Foxes Rock IPA....More

Great service and fantastic food make this a must see in Belfast. So many delicious gluten free, vegetarian, and dairy free options here...and good food for you normal people out there too.

Noisy, minuscule portions, very expensive for what you get but on the plus side enthusiastic staff. Visited once but would not return as value for money is very poor.

Visited recently for the 3rd time for my girlfriend's birthday and cannot fault this place whatsoever. Had the Butcher's Special, which was a flat iron steak, and left the plate clean. Also called up earlier in the day to drop in a birthday cake and...More

I would probably say no. Somewhere like Springsteins Diner on the Lisburn Road might be better.
