Lovely place to grab a drink. All of the mixed drinks were professionally made - watching the bartender as he expertly handles the drink orders is fascinating to watch. Service is prompt and impeccable. I would highly recommend!

They have a nice selection of cocktails and the ones we selected were made well. But they put a HUGE piece of ice in each drink to try to hide the fact that there's not much booze. Are you trying to cheat USA?

Visited here with a friend whilst staying with her in her hometown of Belfast to celebrate her upcoming 21st birthday. She took me here for our first drink of the night as she had been a number of times before and loved it - it seemed pricy but worth it for such a celebration. We were ushered through to the... More

Visited the Merchant for afternoon tea & spa treatment. However I was a bit shocked to discover that they charge a 10% service charge onto the bill. I have been to a lot of establishments and this is a first, don't think i will be back.

I like a bar tenders that are cocktail artists, who don't stick to the menu if you don't want them to. I asked if they have cinnamon-smoked old fashion whiskey, and the guy said no but he could make it, and he did! Very good cocktail bar for an early evening drink.

If only we had more time to try more of the cocktails.... Great service and knowledgable staff to help you select a drink to suit your tastes.

This is a new experience for me as never paid more than $5 in USA for a mixed drink. Most of drinks here average around 10 pounds so in US dollars over $15 buckaroos. The drinks are good, the bar is nice, the young barkeeps are all pleasant and well mannered but I got to think the prices are a... More

Lovely ambiance, unrivaled cocktail menu, and the service is excellent. People will tell you that it's over priced, but the prices of their cocktails haven't changed in years, and considering you pay £8.00 plus for a decent gin and tonic in a decent bar in Belfast city center nowadays, is a £10 cocktail expertly made really too expensive?

Huge book of cocktails. Go and experiment. Even a non-alcoholic section. Food available too, but we ate in the restaurant. Which was great.
