Nice music. Wide assortment of libations to try. And GREAT service! Michael was our server, and could not have been more charming. He was polite, friendly and eagerly answered our questions on the history of the place as a former bank building. Nice relaxing way to wind down with a night cap!

Very fancy place~ we sat ourselves down in the bar. Had a lovely lunch and a margarita and then a lovely cup of tea in a fancy silver teapot. Great atmosphere. Michael our server was so so nice and very professional and made our experience even better.

Prior to going out for a meal with two friends to celebrate our wedding anniversary they suggested we start off in the Merchant Hotel bar. The surroundings are gorgeous. We were given the cocktail menu which is a bit like War and Peace, pretty hefty. In the end we decided on champagne. Hard to beat bubbles for a special occasion.... More

I had a few cocktails here with friends on a recent visit to Belfast. The building is absolutely stunning throughout. The cocktail menu is out of this world....over 100 pages! It can be a little overwhelming, but you'll definitely find something you like! We visited on a Sunday and the dress code was casual, lots of people in jeans. A... More

Lovely to grab a window seat and people watch! The quality cocktails are beautifully presented with tasty complimentary nibbles. My wife LOVES The Bramble and always chooses it after spending an age perusing the Cocktail Book - maybe she will order something different next time (will let you all know if she does!).

Loved the ambiance in the Bar, we were a group of 8 and we were very well looked after by all the staff. It was a joy to go there (and the cocktails were amazing too!!) Highly recommend going in - and make sure you take time to check out the toilet's, very unique.

There is no where better in Belfast for a cocktail. The pina colada is awesome. Staff are warm and friendly and surroundings are lovely. The cocktail menu is extensive and the ingredients are fresh in all the cocktails I've tried. Bit pricey but worth it.

Loved the building - very special and calm, relaxed and sophisticated air in the bar with also nice area to sit in the lobby. Not cheap but worth it if you want to have a relaxing sit and chat. Liked the nibbles.

Very posh, elegant, and exquisite... One of the loveliest cocktail bars I've been to. The decor and the lighting is majestic and makes a lovely atmosphere. The 'Blackberry Bramble' was my drink of choice... A tenner a pop but so worth it! This cocktail bar isn't really for large groups on the piss, wanting to paint the town red... Take... More
