We Brits have such low expectations. Food was not local and pretty mediocre. Given the Gower with its amazing meat is just a few miles away the menu could have been any cheap pub in Britain. Couldn’t even get a local beer. Staff were great...More

I visited the Pumphouse on Tuesday 14th November for a dinner with my husband. We chose three courses and the food was delicious, especially the start course with mushrooms and toasts. The food came really quickly and we will be back soon.

Called in on a rainy Saturday afternoon after a visit to the Dylan Thomas Museum. Great welcome, good food and drinks. Highly recommended and it's a Brains pub so the quality is spot on. Thanks for looking after us. We will be back.

Description
As a key part of the new marina area of Swansea, and being close by to the SA1 development, we aim to be the ‘community bar’ for everyone in the local area. We are a premium bar with our own style and atmosphere, indulgent premium drinks brands and fantastic food. We also pride ourselves on our range of cask ale, and this combines with our maritime design features to ensure that we keep in touch with our roots. We have a nice upstairs area that can be hired for private use, and our outdoor areas sit right next to the lock gates – a great waterfront location.
