I am vegetarian and was very happy about the "Vegetarian Mains" section on the menu. The staff wasn't overly friendly, but not rude or unfriendly either, rather neutral, which I liked. I am not a big fan of small talk or phony friendliness. After my friend and I had fnished our starter, the mains arrived and looked great, just as... More
Yesterday (07/04/2017) both me and my partner and our friends were refused access to this restaurant on the grounds that we had our guide dogs with us. The person who approached us in the restaurant didn't care that he was breaking the law and admitted that he would rather have the potential fine than let us in. He then practically... More
Wow! How disappointed were we! Went to the anarkali for the first time in many, many years & we won't be going again. 5 of us went for my mum's birthday at 10pm on a Friday the restaurant was quiet with lots of staff around, shame they weren't pleased to see us. Not one member of staff showed any enthusiasm... More
Went here for a birthday celebration and the customer service was just terrible. Ignorant staff, who just want you in, take your money, up sell up sell, chuck the food at you don't ask if your OK and then chuck the bill at you. Probably fine if it was 4am and I'd had 20 pints. Poor, poor, poor! We brought... More
I have eaten at the Anarkali many times whilst working in Swansea. It's great for both groups or for those wanting a quiet meal. Staff are pleasant and food is excellent and reasonably priced.
We decided to visit here as my partner said he'd heard good things. I found the staff were disinterested and the little guy behind the counter made you feel like you were of a inconvenience to him. We had the Sunday buffet, it looked like a good variety of dishes until you opened the lids and discovered 75% of them... More
My husband and I today had the Sunday Buffet meal at this restaurant near Brangwyn Hall/Joe's Ice Cream Parlour in Swansea. The charge was £9 per adult and it's £4.50 for children. We hadn't booked but were very efficiently found a table and seated. The choice of foods available on the buffet was excellent (they advertise on their menu that... More
A friend of ours was back home from Dubaii for a short break and a group of us descended on the Anarkali on a Thursday evening..the restaurant is very good and comfortable and the two old guys who work as waiters there are just amazing, no smiling just go about their jobs with complete disdain....you have just got to visit...
